The Role

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our Australian and New Zealand business as the Market Sector Director ANZ – Water. You will be a key stakeholder for AECOM water projects across Australia and New Zealand and play a crucial role of influence in the market generally. To ensure AECOM delivers consistently excellent client service you will develop, implement and be accountable for the AECOM ANZ water strategy.

With your demonstrated relationship management capabilities you will oversee AECOM’s extensive water projects, constantly identifying and developing future opportunities as they arise.

You will achieve these key objectives by utilising and leveraging your engagement and collaboration capabilities, working with Group Directors, relevant practice leads, our Client Account Managers and our ANZ technical network. You will hold direct accountability to the End Market Director Civil Infrastructure ANZ with ANZ practice leaders, Civil Infrastructure and other business line staff supporting where appropriate.

About You

With significant related experience in the water industry, you will thrive in an ever-changing business landscape. You will develop and implement strategy, grow our market share and revenue, introduce new services and/or adapt to new procurement models (e.g. delivery partner, PMOs), assist under-performing parts of our Water business, and identify and recruit new talent.

You are a strong influencer. Your ability to connect and engage with clients on a regular and meaningful basis will assist with growth in market share and revenue for the Water market sector.
