Job Summary

AECOM has an opportunity for an In Town Services (ITS) Manager on our program in Alice Springs, Australia. The ITS Manager is a Functional Area Manager (FAM) and member of the OASIS Management Team who has direct leadership responsibility for all Housing Services performed by OASIS.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable to provide leadership, management and oversight to enable the delivery of consistently high quality results that meet Statement of Work requirements for the Operations and Maintenance of ITS, and APO/Clinic facilities and all residences.

  • Provide leadership, management and oversight of the OASIS Housing Program.

  • Establish an effective organization and staffing structure that provides the appropriately skilled resources required to perform 100% of required work.

  • Manage ITS to expend assigned resources according to budge, schedule and required standards.

  • Implement planning processes to achieve constant improvement within ITS for current and future operational requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations as required.

  • Develop and maintain high quality customer service including a close and productive working relationship with the USG GPOC to ensure the specific customer needs are understood and delivered.

  • Demonstrate leadership to promote, practice and ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements.

  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience managing projects of similar size, scope and complexity as well as a minimum of two (2) consecutive years of supervisory experience in operations and maintenance area.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance or an NV1 Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian).

  • Demonstrated competency in managing housing programs, renovations projects and recapitalization planning.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement processes and procedures.

  • Demonstrated high level problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Personal computing skills and understanding of relevant IT applications, including Word, Excel and SAP.

  • Proven ability to manage and resolve conflict.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage strategic and operational organizational change.

  • Ability to anticipate/forecast operations and maintenance threats and opportunities.

  • Proven ability to align operations and configuration strategies with the overall site direction.

  • Advanced management in the development of effective organizations, commercial structures, budgets, operations, processes and procedures.

  • Experience in planning operations on an overall program strategic level.

  • Proven ability to apply knowledge and experience in the preparation and delivery of reports, briefings, analysis and investigations.

  • Strong collaborate skills across the organization.

  • Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

  • White Card.

  • Drivers Licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active, fully adjudicated TS security clearance is preferred.

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment

  • Cert IV in Property Services

  • CPR

  • First Aid
