Digital Engineering Team Leader- Civil Infrastructure

Job Summary

Supporting the NSW/ACT Group Director, you will join the Sydney leadership team in the role of Digital Engineering Team Leader – Civil Infrastructure. In this role you will be leading the “technical and commercial” side of Digital Engineering with the remit to continuously enhance AECOM’s digital delivery processes, leading and supporting our people in their quest to invent the best digital approach of the future. This position collaborates strongly across all sectors of the AECOM business, both locally, nationally and globally. As part of this role you will be focused on:

  • Increasing Client value from Digital Engineering (DE) (including the adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems GIS));
  • Streamlining service delivery workflows;
  • Ensuring AECOM’s full digital capability is implemented across bids and projects.
  • Plan, lead and facilitate training on supporting technologies to the business.
  • Lead the further integration of Digital Engineering across sub-sectors within the business.

As a Digital Engineering and technology leader, you will be a visible and active champion of change across the region and industry.

Minimum Requirements

You are a Digital Thought Leader, passionate about innovation and technical differentiation with proven experience in “Intelligent Project Delivery”.

Your knowledge of the latest Digital Engineering solutions, collaboration platforms, BIM processes and standards as well as AR/VR, GIS and data analytics technologies will see you utilising technology to drive business outcomes.

With your extensive years of professional experience and significant experience in consulting (Civil infrastructure sector an advantage), you will have proven commercial business management experience and a successful track record of delivering successful digital projects for lineal infrastructure.

We are looking for a strategic thinker. A strong people leader who can develop, implement and drive innovative and differentiated solutions to our clients whilst bringing our business along on this journey.

You will thrive whilst working in a collaborative environment, with proven business management experience. Global collaboration experience is highly desirable.
