I was in a senior leadership role when I had my first experience of executive coaching and it changed my life. I thought my coach had magic powers, because I left that coaching session with a level of clarity and certainty I hadn’t felt in years.
I love helping people achieve positive change in their lives – identifying the areas for growth that will make the biggest difference to their confidence, career, and/or wellbeing. I especially love working with people to stretch their thinking and explore new possibilities. Through coaching I help people take a step back and get clarity about their personal vision, then make changes that will move them toward that.
I have coached people at almost every level of seniority and stage of life, from an incredibly diverse range of backgrounds and industries; what really lights me up is working with people to uncover their unique strengths and find their motivation, or ‘spark’. A recent client wrote:
“I really valued and enjoyed our sessions, they came just at the right time for me as I go back into work after 3 periods of maternity leave. The sessions really clarified for me what I should be focusing on and why I feel so happy and motivated when I am drawing on my strengths. … All these things have motivated me and given me confidence. I’m also happy to report that my promotion interview went well and I got promoted. Your sessions really helped pull together all of my experience to clearly articulate my business case so it was great timing.”
I’m an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and my commitment to the profession of coaching led me to be the current President for the ICF’s SA Branch.
