About Vodafone Foundation.

Vodafone Foundation works to improve the health of Australians through technology. We call it ‘connected for good’ and since 2002, we have donated $26 million to a range of important causes. Whether it’s helping to solve cancer or change attitudes to alcohol, we believe your phone can create a better future.

Vodafone Foundation currently supports the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Hello Sunday Morning, grants and in kind support for smart technology to help Australians lead healthier lives.

Vodafone Foundation also empowers Vodafone staff to support our charity partners and charities they’re personally passionate about, through volunteering, matching staff fundraising and workplace giving.

Vodafone Foundation’s Board is made up of senior Vodafone staff and one independent director. The trustee board is responsible for the governance and financial management of the Vodafone Foundation, and ensures we deliver on our purpose and goals.

In 2014/15, Vodafone Foundation made three-year commitments to our current charity partners. To make the biggest possible difference to these programs, we won’t be taking on any other applications for funding or in-kind support in 2016/17.

Vodafone Foundation Australia is part of a global network of 27 Vodafone Foundations, which use mobile technology to make the world a better place.
