EAP Provider

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential and voluntary counselling service provided as a resource to UQ employees and their immediate family. The EAP can help with the resolution of personal and work related problems which may affect your work performance or quality of life. Our employee assistance program provider is Davidson Trahaire Corpsych.

UQ Sport

UQ Sport manages the extensive sporting facilities at The University of Queensland, which includes the St Lucia, and Gatton campuses. Find your own definition of fitness with the wide range of memberships, programs and events available by clicking here.

Multifaith Chaplaincy Service

The Chaplaincy Service has a team of people from different faith communities who are available to support staff and students with a range of needs in personal, family or spiritual life. Centres are established at St Lucia and Gatton campuses.

UQ Physio Clinic

The Physiotherapy Division of the UQ School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences has on St Lucia campus a number of clinics which provide supervised treatment to the UQ community and to the general public, by both undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy student

Health Benefits

Injury Prevention

The University supports and contributes to the provision of workplace rehabilitation for all employees whose ability to carry out their duties is affected by injury or illness. This applies regardless of whether the injury or illness is work-related. To find out more, please click here.

Flu Vaccination

UQ offers free annual flu vaccinations for all continuing and fixed term members of staff. This service is promoted to staff via email.

Social Clubs

The UQ Union has a large number of student clubs registered, several of which are open to staff members.
