As Facilities Manager for our flagship Westfield Sydney, working in a high-pressure, ‘always on call’ environment – often long after the centre closes – comes with the territory for Warren Thompson. Except on Wednesdays, when he’s out of the office by 5pm without question, handing responsibility over to his team, switching off the phone and moving into his other in-demand role as father and coach of his young daughter’s soccer team.
