I have been a flexible worker for many years. I currently work two days at home and travel from the Blue Mountains to the Sydney CBD 3 days a week.
The reduction of nearly 8 hours travel each week means I am more engaged and focused because my energy levels are higher. There are considerable benefits to my health, mental health and overall wellbeing. My work from home days are my core productivity days and my office days are focused on collaboration and relationship building.
