Our commitment to training was recently recognised when Pernod Ricard Winemakers won the 2008 Employer of the Year at the South Australian Training Awards, along with winning the Australian Agrifood Industry Award and we were finalists at the National Employee of the Year in the National Training Awards.

We offer a range of programs within the Company including:

  • Online learning - employees have the opportunity to participate in a range of training courses on line, anytime and anywhere. These courses include areas such as wine and spirit education and computer skills development.
  • Professional development - the Professional Development Program is a series of short courses such as time management and conflict resolution.
  • Management training - the Management Development Program offers contextualised programs through local Universities for senior managers and those aspiring to management positions. The program leads to a University level management qualification and can provide credits toward higher level management qualifications.
  • Leadership opportunities – A range of Leadership Development initiatives are provided to employees, from personalised development plans, 360 degree surveys, coaching, and intensive leadership programs designed to build leadership capability at all levels in the business.
  • Tertiary Studies Support – Study assistance is available on a case by case basis, and can include financial support, study leave, mentoring and more.
