My name is Darren and I’ve been with HCF for 8 years. 

Making the decision to change companies and industries was a difficult one to make. At the time, I had a great position, which I was happy in, but the work/life balance was way out of kilter. 

My mum was diagnosed with a terminal illness and I decided to take on the responsibility of main carer. But to do so, I needed a better work/life balance. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and this helped make my decision to accept a position with HCF. 

Since being with HCF, it’s provided me with a healthy work/life balance so I could care for my mum, while also having the opportunity to grow and showcase my strengths within the business.
