As Administration Clerk, Sentence Administration for Corrective Services NSW, Kayleen ensures the safety of the NSW community by ensuring inmates are held in custody correctly and released on time, and court orders and court movements are accurately recorded on systems.

Kayleen’s diverse role sees her liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and dealing with new challenges with each individual case that comes her way. It’s this daily interaction, variety and challenge that Kayleen enjoys most about her role.

“I enjoy dealing with different people, including members of the public, and dealing with different cases all the time,” she enthuses.

Kayleen’s desire to help the NSW community even extends beyond her workplace.

“I help out with community and charity organisations, making sure I reach out to those in need by providing food. I also enjoy singing and visiting the elderly."
