Our Community

We partner with our communities to deliver a shared benefit from our presence

In each of the countries in which we operate, we contribute directly and also with our partner, The Coca-Cola Company, to the economic and social development of local communities and the people who live there. The contribution to these communities is through both our day-to-day business activities and also through a wide range of philanthropic contributions and community programs.

Australia

In 2014, Coca-Cola Australia provided $6 million for active healthy living, wellbeing and environmental programs, supporting local communities nationwide. In 2014, we provided support for initiatives including:

• Charitable organisations and programs
• Community grants
• Sponsorship of local, national and international sports teams and events
• Workplace giving

New Zealand

In New Zealand we work closely with the communities in which we operate and are committed to investing in programs that make a tangible difference. We focus on the three key areas of wellbeing, the environment and inspiring youth.

An accredited Rainbow Tick organisation, we were the first Coca-Cola bottler in the world to be represented by our employees in a LGBTQI community Pride parade.

Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand also holds the position of Chair of The Packaging Forum, an Industry Association responsible for the Government owned Love NZ brand that educates and funds recycling and waste infrastructure across the country.
