Caltex Women's Networks

Caltex
Caltex is committed to achieving diversity across all levels of our business. Since 2011 the Caltex Diversity Strategy has focused on development of our female talent to ensure a strong pipeline of female leaders.

“Time alone will not result in gender equality in workplace leadership…to fully utilise available female leadership talent, business must do more than simply wait. And they must do more than a bit of tokenism.” Elizabeth Bryan, Caltex Chairman

As part of the Caltex Diversity strategy, female employees are given the opportunity to attend various internal and external professional development and networking functions.

In 2013, we introduced the Caltex Women’s Networking Series. Over the course of six events, held in Sydney and Brisbane, Caltex women from across the business gathered to connect, inspire and grow.

“Thank you very much for a great event. The content was certainly thought provoking and the guest speaker, Patricia was really fantastic. Most importantly it was simply a wonderful opportunity to meet other senior women in Caltex. I’m really looking forward to the next one!” Melissa de Klerk, Marketing Construction Manager

Women’s Networks have also been established at our refineries in Kurnell, NSW and Lytton, QLD, to provide opportunities for Caltex women to connect and network.
