Executive

Led by Ian Silk, the Executive team ensures that our business strategy is implemented effectively so we can achieve our goal of providing the best possible outcome for members.

Investments

Our Investments group is responsible for managing more than 2.2 million members’ super contributions, totalling more than $140 billion in member assets as at 31 December 2018. Investing across a diverse range of asset classes and geographies, our Investments group ensures that our members’ long-term financial wellbeing is reflected in our investment philosophies and strategies.

Membership

Our Membership group delivers the Fund’s member education and advice program and maintains our corporate relationships, increasing member engagement and generating opportunities to grow our membership and funds under management. The teams work closely with members, employers, external advisers, unions and other strategic partners, in order to deliver and promote the Fund’s product and service offering.

Member Experience

The Member Experience group is responsible for the development, delivery and administration of the Fund’s operational member and employer services. The group manages our third party service provider relationships, manages our Digital program, and is key in the delivery of our new products and services.

Product, Brand & Reputation

The Product, Brand and Reputation group evolves and promotes the AustralianSuper brand as a consistent, holistic pledge to existing or potential members. The team is also involved in gathering and interpreting member and business insights, the design and review of our product offer and establishing our policy positions.

Corporate Services

Corporate Services is made up of the Fund’s enterprise-level Finance, Governance & Compliance, Risk and Legal departments. Working closely with teams across the whole business, Corporate Services assists the Fund in driving commercial rigour and accountability, determining risks and how they’re managed, and ensuring adherence to all of our regulatory and legislative requirements.

Technology Services

Our Technology Services group delivers and supports technology infrastructure, projects and services to the Fund. Structured around a Plan/Build/Run model and supported by a Governance function, the team aims to provide a seamless technology experience that supports the organisation and our people in delivering great outcomes for our members.

People & Culture

People & Culture is responsible for the design and delivery of our human resource strategies, consisting of employee relations, performance & reward, organisational & talent development, and recruitment. Working with all teams across the organisation, P&C ensures we have the framework in place that enables high performance, while maximising people engagement and experience.
