2.What was your motivation to become a coach?
Imagine a working life that is fully aligned with your values and your belief systems; where every day you know you are going to do exactly what you want to do! That’s what coaching is for me.
I’m passionate about what I do; it’s my calling. I get to work with the most amazing people. I get to help people move from where they are in life to where they want to be, whatever that is for them.
I am pivotal in their journey to become resourceful so that they can be fully equipped and empowered to live an extraordinary life.
I meet new and interesting people that challenge me, that keep my coaching pencil sharp, so that I can continue to grow and develop and be flexible as a coach and as a person.
When my clients get their big ah-ha moment, or a major breakthrough, it’s just one of the most incredibly rewarding experiences there is. You know unequivocally that in that moment, profound change has taken place within that person and their life will never be the same again. I really couldn't wish for anything more.
3.Do you have any particular areas of coaching expertise?
Given my professional background, my training and skills, and my full life experience, I can draw on a wealth of knowledge, and have at hand a metaphorical toolbox of offerings for my clients. This includes Neuro Linguisitc Programming, Time Line Therapy, Hypnotherapy, behavioural and career profiling, needs and values analytics, presentation and speaking skills training, interview skills, and so on. We can address career needs, confidence issues, limiting beliefs, negative emotions, conflicting priorities, starting a new business, marketing yourself, finding your purpose …whatever it is that might be challenging you or keeping you stuck.
Navigating change, and all that encompasses, need not be so difficult.
I work with an array of different clients, many of whom are in some kind of life transition. Each and every client has different needs, different ways of operating in the world, and different levels of self-awareness and self-empowerment.
It is my role to facilitate the unique journey of each individual in an insightful and empowering way, allowing them to be the best version of their authentic selves.
4.What do you love most about coaching?
What’s not to love! I like to live my life on a continuous journey of self-improvement. Coaching allows me this opportunity every day.
I am passionately committed to helping my clients achieve their full potential in every aspect of their lives: career and business, personal, mindset and performance, health, relationships and finances.
I love connecting people with their inherent abilities and strengths, and their sense of purpose, to bring about incredible results in their lives.
I’m extremely fortunate to have found my purpose and my passion in coaching and I'm honoured to share it with others.
5. How do you define success?
For me, success brings freedom. The freedom to be with the people I love; the freedom to be flexible with my time; the freedom to do the things that I enjoy. Success allows me the freedom to pursue my passion for travel; it provides me with ongoing opportunities for self-development; it gives me access to other inspirational and successful people; and it broadens my networks enabling me to align myself with like-minded people. Success is not so much about financial gain, but what I gain personally from living a purposeful life.
Success is also about contribution and having the ability to help others. Making a difference is important to me, and success affords me the resources to make a difference in other people's lives.
6.What is your vision for women in the workplace?
To be the best version of themselves. To be empowered. To live their passion.
This is an empowering quote attributed to Marianne Williamson, A Course in Miracles;
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?”
