Digital Content and Campaign Manager (Dodo & iPrimus)

Vocus is looking for a Digital Content and Campaign Manager to join the Digital Marketing team. The team is growing rapidly and needs a content leader who can think strategically about digital creative and has an eye for engaging content while having a strong emphasis on execution and ability to tie together digital marketing campaigns from a creative perspective.
Working across two well-known and evolving Consumer brands (Dodo & iPrimus), the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing digital creative, content and online strategies and experiences that support the goals of deepening consumer engagement and driving sales across key digital channels. The opportunity is huge and exciting for the right person!

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop the overarching content strategy for Dodo and iPrimus including key territories of focus, formats, distribution, amplification, objectives, measurement and so on
  • Manage and govern how the content strategy comes to life across multiple teams and assets, ensuring that content is cohesively developed, managed, utilized and measured
  • Champion best-in-class digital asset production, working collaboratively with the broader Brand, Marketing, Digital and Creative teams to create amazing digital assets that are fit for channel, relevant to the audience and drive results
  • Work collaboratively with Digital, Brand Marketing, and Creative teams to create a program to design, test and optimize creative content across cross-channel digital marketing campaigns including, but not limited to: display creative, online video, social assets, search copy, website landing pages, content articles, content sponsorships, etc
  • Influence the process for how digital assets are developed and taken to market
  • Maintain oversight of the campaign ideation to creative execution process by ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and tracking to schedule
  • Work closely with our SEO specialist to improve our organic search performance and produce content that’s on the pulse of what consumers are searching for
  • Analyze trends, educate the team and provide perspective on what’s hot in the content world

Candidate requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development, implementation and governance of digital content strategy
  • 3+ years experience managing the development of digital marketing campaigns and assets across display, video, search and/or social channels
  • Ability to interpret and gain insight from data in order to determine content/creative performance
  • Strong understanding of how content creation works to assist SEO and experience in working to improve SEO performance
  • Experience collaborating with designers, project managers, marketing managers, digital media experts and other cross-functional teams
  • Highly experienced with digital media, social networks and digital trends in market
  • Experience managing projects and cross-team initiatives – digital campaigns preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter and have a strong desire to learn as well as educate
  • Must be detail-oriented, very organized, a multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure

Preferred Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience with creative technologies such as content management systems, dynamic creative platforms, social management platforms, etc
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics suite, as well as Excel
  • 2 or more years of digital copy writing experience
  • Basic knowledge/proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Basic knowledge/proficiency in HTML and web coding, CSS, Flash, browsers and platforms
