Business Account Manager


Managing inbound and outbound calls intended to Up-sell, cross-sell and grow revenue through the delivery of excellent sales delivery, customer service, and insightful industry knowledge.

The following responsibilities are attributable to the above position.  However, other duties may be required from time to time as directed by your manager.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Up-sell and cross-sell to existing customers.
  • Acquire new business.
  • Achieve targets and KPI’s set for Business Sales.
  • Updating records and information in both CRM systems and Salesforce.
  • Learn and build on your understanding of your customer’s businesses, in particular their communication needs both current and future.
  • Understand and adhere to all legal, regulatory and company policy requirements.
  • Other appropriate tasks and responsibilities as requested by Management

Key Tasks: 

  • Regularly maintain accurate records of customer interaction including updating internal systems or other reporting devices as agreed with your line manager
  • Provide and update customers with most current details for all customer support channels and initiatives
  • Meet or exceed any KPIs designated by your Regional Manager in relation to your role
  • Maintain and build on your knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry and relevant changes that occur. In particular, new products or changes to competitor propositions
  • Understand your customer’s technology needs and apply the industry knowledge you have to up-sell complimentary product offerings to increase your new order intake objectives
  • Proven track record in a similar role preferably within the Telecommunications Industry
  • Ability to meet or exceed agreed targets and KPIs within required time frames
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Ninja and Custlite systems.
  • Sound knowledge of products and competitors
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self starter, team player and a contributor to the culture
  • Positive Mental attitude
