Automation Analyst

As an Automation Analyst, you will be a part of the Data and Analytics team, building programs that optimise business outcomes by ensuring that we target the right people, in the right place and the right time with the appropriate messages. Your work will support the delivery of our automation efforts to effectively promote our products and services to our existing and future target market. You will work very closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, Operations and Customer Marketing teams to support ongoing below the line customer program builds.  

The day to day

  • Identify audiences for customer programs from our AWS infrastructure by analysing large datasets of structured and unstructured data to understand customer behaviour and trends
  • Support marketing, product and customer service teams in driving campaign effectiveness through ongoing optimisation of data selection and targeting
  • Provide timely data to support effective pre-campaign analytics including models to assess financial impacts
  • Build customer journeys in our automation tool – Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Be able to assist with providing quality control and oversight on campaigns
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to provide recommendations on future campaigns
  • Partner with stakeholders to closely understand requirements and integrate within analytics techniques

What you will bring to the table

  • Experience in turning data into meaningful insights and presenting them to stakeholders
  • 2+ years’ experience working within the data, marketing, or digital field
  • Experience working with large data sets and working in a high-volume campaign environment
  • Experience interpreting briefs from stakeholders and working with analytical, marketing or product teams
  • Experience using data visualisation tools (like Tableau)
  • Skills in Front end languages such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • It is desirable, but not essential that you have a technical background in SQL or Python, structured databases, and visualisation tools (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Big Query)
