1:1 Marketing Manager

This role is responsible for leading Commanders 1:1 marketing program. Working with a range of stakeholders the 1:1 Marketing manager will identify, develop and manage a portfolio of marketing campaigns to drive acquisition, usage and retention across Commanders product portfolio in line with business targets.  In addition, this role carries a responsibility for leadership of Commanders 1:1 SMB database development and marketing automation CAPEX programs.


  • 1:1 Marketing plan
  • Develop quarterly marketing plan
  • Execute the product roadmap with maximum sales impact
  • 1:1 Campaign Management
  • Identification of 1:1 demand generation activities including target market selection & list generation
  • Oversee production/management of 1:1 marketing campaigns
  • Execution of marketing and lifecycle service comms executed via Marketing cloud
  • 1:1 contact strategy, execution & compliance
  • Define Commanders 1:1 contact strategy spanning marketing and service messages across the product portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with marketing opt outs, SPAM act & other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Database development & and Marketing automation program
  • Lead the development of Commanders SMB prospect database & marketing automation programs
  • 1:1 Campaign performance
  • Deliver reporting requirements to measure the effectiveness of our 1-1 activity
  • Data insights and analytics
  • Drive sales, usage and retention through the delivery of customer/business insights
  • Identify key lifecycle events and develop campaign activities to harness these
  • Management of Commanders 1:1 marketing budget across both working and non-working activities aligned to Commanders business plan


  • 5 years experience in similar roles within the services sector including indepth knowledge of 1:1 theory and application in consumer/SMB markets
  • Previous experience leading teams of marketing professionals
  • Proven track record leading the successful stand-up of marketing automation platform/s
  • Experience leveraging customer data with demonstrable track record of sourcing new data to drive marketing performance
  • Commercial acumen – experience managing budgets, establishing reporting frameworks and driving ongoing optimisation in line with commercial objectives
  • Experience establishing and executing marketing plans leveraging key points of differentiation to deliver strong business results


  • Excellent customer focus with track record of leveraging customer insights to deliver business outcomes
  • Demonstrates proactive team work and collaboration with others
  • Ability to drive to achieve outcomes in a changing environment
  • Effectively manages their time, resources and relationships to ensure that work is completed efficiently
