About the role
Leadership role establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. This opportunity will assess, manage and communicate Viva Energy’s IT security risks. Your responsibilities will include Cyber Security including Incident response, Disaster recovery and Business continuity management, Identity and access management, Information privacy, Information risk management, Information regulatory compliance, Information technology controls, IT investigations and Security architecture. You will have strong knowledge of best practice information security principles and frameworks across infrastructure and applications. This experience will enable you to effectively work with and challenge technical IT teams to develop the most optimal solutions for the business. Your understanding of current and emerging security threats will help you to develop, design and execute security architecture to mitigate against these risks. Your strong leadership and communication skills will enable you to effectively discuss IT security strategies and risks with senior stakeholders.
Experienced in IT Security, you will have Strong communication and analytical skills along with certification in CISSP/CISA/CISM, CRISC, GIAC G2700, IRAP or other certifications or tertiary education specifically related to Information Security. You will have familiarity with ISO ISO27001 and or other related standards that will help you to define improve and enforce standards for IT users within the Company. You must also have an understanding of local legal requirements as they relate to data management.
