About the role

You will have the opportunity to be the SME of the HF Alkylation Unit and owner of all procedures and instruction for Shift Operators relating to operation, shutdown, start-up, process isolation, and vent/draining decon of equipment for maintenance. Assess safety, reliability and environmental threats and prioritise maintenance activities to address threats. Ensure Operations planning for Interventions and Turnarounds relating to scope, process isolation, decon, control of work and associated resourcing is delivered to meet business targets on safety, reliability and environmental performance.

About you

You will be an experienced engineer with leadership experience in coaching, leading and influencing through others. You will have experience in the coordinating and leading risk assessment of non-routine operations, communicating accurate timely information to shift operations, hydrocarbon schedulers and maintenance teams. You will be experienced in developing Operations resourcing strategy and requirements for successful interventions and TA while maintaining sufficient manning for ongoing operations. You will have extensive experience in Operations or Process Engineering of HF Alkylation units. Experience with Amine & SRU is also preferred. Clear understanding of HF Alkylation damage mechanisms and materials of construction requirements, safe operating envelope, decontamination procedures. Competent in writing and authorising procedures. Competent in risk assessment for non-routine Operations. Competent in Process Isolation and Control of Work. You will be capable of communicating technical issues with the HF Alkylation Licensor and be skilled in PPE requirements for HF Alkylation operations and maintenance.
