People & Culture Manager - part time

Inspired People Solutions has the pleasure of partnering with VendorPanel to recruit the pivotal and newly created role of People & Culture Manager to the business, as VendorPanel embark on their growth strategy.

VendorPanel is an award winning technology platform, used by hundreds of government and corporate organisations across Australia. It manages billions of dollars in procurement spend and provides government and corporate buyers with a better way to do business with their suppliers. The technology is also used to leverage enterprise purchasing to drive positive social and regional economic development outcomes."

VendorPanel has a requirement for an P&C Manager who will initially support the following strategies for the business:

1. Recruitment

Over the next 12 months we plan to grow our team with 12-15 new hires across Sales, Account Management, Technology and Operations. We’re looking for a team member to lead the end-to-end recruitment process during this high growth phase. We’ll count on you to ensure we attract the best people who offer a strong culture and capability fit.

2. People - Accountability & Performance

This part of the role will ensure alignment between company strategy and direction, culture and the personal development plans and KPIs of new and existing team members.

You will ensure that all staff have an up-to-date personal development plan, a clear understanding of how their role contributes to the business, and of how their contribution will be measured.

3. Culture

We understand that people and culture are critical to our successes and we’re investing in culture programs and employee development.

We are fortunate to have a great culture that binds our team. It’s something we have worked hard to build. Some of our cultural norms we really want to retain, and some we want to strengthen and further embed into everything we do. As we grow, we need a senior member of the team who can help us leverage, protect and develop the culture that defines us. 


Key Responsibilities

This is a hands on role that will range from strategic planning to tactical execution. This is the first P&C related role in the business, but it is not a greenfield site. We have frameworks in place to support our people function and we need you to refine and develop these. It’s an exciting opportunity to help shape the business, as well as get involved in making things happen. It needs someone who can operate at a fast paced strategic level, and is also excited to roll their sleeves up and get the work done with a high level of professionalism, initiative and attention to detail.

Ideally you will be HR qualified, have 5+ years generalist experience and enjoy working in a small team yet in fast paced and dynamic environment. You will have good relationship building skills, be prepared to work in an office environment that is cohesive, collaborative, autonomous and drive the strategy into operational efficiencies and frameworks.

Did I mention that this is a part-time role? We’re looking for someone who can work .6 FTE and we are flexible on how you do it – 3 days/week, 4 days and reduced hours – please articulate your requirements.
