About the role:
The primary responsibility of the Technology Operations Manager role is overall management of the day to day operations of the technology environment in supporting and maintaining infrastructure, systems and applications while achieving set targets and associated outcomes for the business.
The Technology Operations Manager will set direction and lead the use of service design, transition and operations techniques, methodologies and tools to align with overall business requirements. You will lead, guide and mentor a team, while working with multiple vendors to deliver optimal services for business stakeholders. With offices on the Sunshine Coast and Caboolture, this role offers flexibility in terms of location, and allows you to avoid the city commute!

About you:
  

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring a team within a challenging technology environment.
  • You would have proven expertise in Technology service delivery management
  • Proven capability in managing technology operations including coverage of infrastructure, information systems, data and security.
  • Ability to manage risks and opportunities, and driving priority focus on mitigation strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnership with business stakeholder and third-party vendors.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including the proven ability to effectively communicate and influence decisions with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Experience with the adoption and implementation of CoBIT and ITIL.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, management or a business-related discipline.
  • C Class Driver’s License.
