Service Desk Analyst


The role       

Be part of our busy Head Office IT team providing helpdesk support for over 5300 employees throughout Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, this role provides end user support both 'face to face' and over the phone, including installation and configuration of computer and telecommunications systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and troubleshooting technical issues.

Your proven background in a similar role in IT will enable you to fulfil this varied and exciting role. Our business is constantly growing and changing so your ability to work in a dynamic and fluid environment without compromising your attention to detail and focus on results will fit in well.

To be successful in the role you’ll also need to demonstrate:

  • good working knowledge of Desktop support, Windows 7/10/Office 365
  • sound understanding of Active Directory, Exchange, DNS and group policy
  • tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Sciences or a relevant discipline
  • ITIL Certified with Australian experience
  • previous Service Desk or Customer Service experience
  • proven track record in effectively troubleshooting issues under pressure
  • experience with user provisioning and procurement processes would be advantageous
  • well-developed communication skills
  • good analytical and problem solving skills
  • ability to work on a rotating roster, including On Call
