The role

We are looking for a rising star in communications and engagement who wants to broaden their professional experience, by applying their expertise to organisational change projects. Similarly, we welcome applications from experienced change practitioners with a special flair for engaging people through effective communications strategies.

Reporting to the Group Manager Communications, and working directly with our Head of Business Transformation, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of a transport leader who moves over 150 million people in Australia and New Zealand every year.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and deliver communications and engagement activities to support major organisational change projects across Transdev’s Australian and New Zealand businesses.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to undertake change impact assessments for transformation initiatives.
  • Identify, coordinate and track resulting change activities across the business.
  • Determine change impacts to all end users affected by the change and manage strategies and deliverables to support the change impact.
  • Support the design, documentation and delivery of end user training to support the future state process.

Please note there will be some ad-hoc domestic travel required for this position.

Fixed-term contract with part-time as well as flexible work arrangements available.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated background in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, or change management across the dimensions of transformational people, process and systems changes.
  • Relevant industry experience with an understanding of how to tailor communications and messaging to a diverse audience.
  • Experience in developing documentation for future state operating models.
  • Capability to identify and plan stakeholder engagement activities and execute relevant communications deliverables.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as well as experience with end-user training will be highly regarded.
  • Self-starter, hands-on, comfortable to work autonomously, and willingness to challenge the status-quo.
