The role       

The Regional Workshop Manager plays a critical role ensuring Transdev deliver a safe and reliable bus service every day. Essentially this role is responsible for multiple work sites and ensuring that all planned maintenance is completed in accordance with relevant acts, regulations and company policy.

With a safety mindset the right individual will enjoy working on continuous improvement strategies to move Transdev forward. You will be responsible for ensuring stock levels are maintained, the asset management system is up to date and all repairs and maintenance are running to schedule.

What you bring

  • You must hold a Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate
  • Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle licence
  • A strong track record working as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
  • Sound experience successfully leading a team of Supervisors/Managers
  • The ability to motivate and lead multiple teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
