Operations Manager


The role

Based at our Rockingham depot the Operations Manager will be responsible for continuously building and maintaining a high-performing workforce within their depot, ensuring Transdev delivers safe and reliable bus services, with a focus on attainment of contractual key performance indicators and broader business objectives with in their depot. The Operations Manager will provide leadership through the continued development of a customer centric culture within Transdev, with a focus on safety, business performance, employee performance and engagement.

What you bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business management or an equivalent discipline preferred
  • Certificate IV Frontline Management (preferred, or the ability to attain in the first 12 months)
  • Significant experience leading teams of over 100 people in an operational leadership role
  • Experience in driving HSEQ competencies to build and maintain a safe work environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a customer centric ethos
  • Previous supervisory experience in Public Transport or Logistics (preferred)
  • Experience with assessment of profit and loss/financial performance and initiation of strategy to achieve budget targets.
  • High-level interpersonal, communicative and negotiation skills & collaborative leadership style.
