Your new job...

Reporting to the CEO, this role will provide high level secretarial and administrative support to help ensure that the organisation is able to meet all contractual and business requirements. Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Attend collaborative practice meetings throughout Western Sydney
  • Arrange venues for meetings
  • Record & distribute agenda items & minutes in a timely manner
  • Follow up on actions arising out of meetings
  • Prepare reports as required
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Team
  • Other general administrative duties

This is a Permanent Part-Time role at a total of 13.5 hours per week, worked over 3 days per week during school hours (9:30am-2:30pm). Salary for this role is classified under the NSW SCHADS Award at Level 5.3, however this employer pays above Award rates. The role is based at Seven Hills but will require regular travel throughout Western Sydney each week so a Driver's License and regular access to a car is necessary.

To be successful in this position you will enjoy providing support at the highest level and be mindful of the importance of this key role.

In your application ensure you address the following selection criteria…

  • Tertiary qualification in Administration, Communications or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role providing administrative support at a senior level
  • High standard of organisational and administrative skills
  • Well-developed written communication skills, specifically including experience in taking minutes
  • Strong attention to detail skills and the ability to consistently provide quality work with accuracy and reliability
  • Sound time management skills including the ability to prioritise duties and accomplish assignments in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Possess maturity of judgement and discretion, and the tact, diplomacy and assertiveness to motivate management and staff to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality as required
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of a range of computing applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint and capacity to use databases
  • Current driver’s licence and access to comprehensively insured motor vehicle
