Technology Assurance Analyst- CSA

The successful candidate will deliver the Control Self-Assessment (CSA) activities as part of the Telstra Operations Business Assurance function. You will also be responsible to perform the end to the end delivery of the CSA Program across Telstra Operations in line with the Telstra Operations Controls Assurance Plan. This includes scheduling and managing the delivery of CSA activities along with the business and strategic partners.

Reporting to the Technology Assurance Manager, you will be part of the growing Risk and Compliance Team where you’ll do work on a scale you can’t elsewhere. You’ll be exposed to many new challenges, to leading edge technology, systems and methodologies. You'll be challenged and stretched, but you'll also be rewarded. The work is complex and stimulating, but with that comes a great sense of achievement.

You’ll have various accountabilities, however some key focuses include;

  • Facilitate the delivery of the CSA Program. 
  • CSA scheduling in accordance with the Telstra Operations Controls Assurance Program.
  • CSA delivery in line with the Telstra Operations Control Assurance Framework.
  • Review and assessment of CSA results providing insights and development of practical business recommendations based on root cause analysis.
  • Ongoing stakeholder management including the business, SME’s, senior leaders and strategic partners.
  • Delivery of CSA outcomes and insights to business stakeholders for input into control effectiveness and control improvements plans to manage current risk exposure.
  • Work with the Telstra Operations Risk Advisory team and LOB Risk partners to ensure alignment of controls testing to the risk profile.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who are the best in their field, you will be agile, resilient and have an outcomes focused approach. You will be collaborative a strong communicator combined with great stakeholder management skills. In addition we would also like to see;

  • A proven credentialed professional in assurance and audit (specifically CSA Programs) with substantial experience within technology environments of large corporations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in audit and assurance.
