Store Leader - Telstra Store Claremont


We have a very exciting opportunity for a Store Leader to join our team at Telstra Store Claremont! You will lead, inspire and develop store staff in achieving store profit including sales targets, customer targets, team metrics and operational execution.

You will create an environment of Personalised service, where the team take ownership of the whole experience, anticipate customer’s need and recover the situation when things go wrong. Telstra Country Wide is responsible for serving customers in metropolitan, regional, rural and remote areas of Australia through our retail network – which includes Telstra Stores, licensees, retailers and partners. TCW provides telecommunications products and services, from home and mobile phones and devices, to fixed and wireless internet and Pay TV services. The key commercial objective for TCW Retail Stores is to maintain market share in all products whilst driving best practice customer service levels in all channels.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Lead the development and management of the store business plan & business initiatives to meet and achieve store targets for a 12 month period
  • Manage team’s delivery of sales targets, ensuring maximises sales opportunities and service within prescribed parameters
  • Achievement of expense budget including labour expense
  • Achievement of Customer targets and the resolution of escalated customer issues and complaints in store
  • Develop a harmonised team culture, setting clear accountabilities and developing the capability in store to high performance
  • Management of inventory and controls in store
  • Manage change management processes as required.
  • Leadership of day to day in store operations KPIs
  • Financial – store profit, sales targets and store operations including inventory write downs and labour
  • Customer Service
  • People – attrition and employee engagement

 

What you will bring:

  • Superior retail skills and demonstrated business success in sales leadership
  • Experience in development of business plans to achieve results
  • High level of business acumen including an established capability to understand and balance commercial, customer and people implications of a situation in making business decisions.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a complex business environment
  • Demonstrated 5 years extensive experience in a team leadership
