The role

The Software Engineer - Application Development, will take a leading role in professional services development and delivery of 1st class technical solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries (government, financial services and energy). This includes the design and implementation and testing of software systems and integration.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your strong software application architecture and development leadership experience to successfully partner with our clients to elicit requirements and to work with multiple business units to ensure the successful delivery of contact centre solutions.  This will include leading the engineering delivery/deployment of the solutions.

Highly desirable if you have experience in the development of AI, Bots and CTI applications.

A bit about you

Some things we'll look for in you:

  • Software Engineer with proven delivery skills and a track record in delivering software projects.
  • Customer-Centric approach, eliciting customer business requirements and solution architecture and design proposals.
  • Experience in creating work breakdown structures, work estimations.
  • Must have extensive advanced Java / Spring experience.  Desirable background expertise:  Embedded System development, AWS/AZURE micro services, real-time protocols or communications.
  • Proactive, team player, flexible, can-do, problem solver, creative, self-learning, leads process improvement and thought leadership.
  • Degree in Engineering/Science/Software Engineering.
  • Experience with CRM e.g. SFDC development/integration and network security principals are highly desirable.
  • Flexibility with travel and work hours where required.
