We are seeking the most talented people to transform the Defence communication network and take it into another dimension.

The Role:

The Senior Account Executive role will lead Telstra’s engagement within the Defence portfolio - involving strategic account management and engagement with executive level customers, solving complex business challenges and promoting the Telstra brand.

Requirements:

  • Establish/Manage strategic customer relationship/s and ongoing development of relationship/s to achieve customer satisfaction including, executive level customer contact plans across multiple business units.
  • Manage significant internal and external stakeholder management issues.
  • Lead large virtual teams in the delivery of commercial proposals to Defence – noting the focus on ICT Professional Services.
  • Achieve Revenue and Sales Objectives for a defined portfolio of strategic customers
  • Develop, lead and implement the account strategy via the relevant account plans and portfolio plan including the forming of commercial judgment relating to cross BU impact, competition issues and commercial trade-offs required to achieve the sales strategy
  • HSE Responsibility: Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, comply with and implement any reasonable Telstra HSE instruction, policy, standard, minimum requirement or procedure, and support Telstra to meet its duties under the relevant safety and environmental legislation.

Candidates must hold a current Defence clearance to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance
