Project Change Coordinator

To support such a vision, we are currently seeking a Project Change Coordinator who will significantly contribute to Telstra’s growing Enterprise within the Business Technology Services (BTS), Project Services Team in Canberra.

Reporting to the Project Team Lead the Project Change Coordinator will be responsible for the Co-ordination of Change activity made by Telstra Projects that affects the Telstra’s ICT services to Defence. The role contributes in managing the impacts to customer networks reliability, stability and performance

The Project Change Coordinator will be responsible for 

  • Applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities
  • Supporting communication efforts and making sure that the Project schedules are not impacted by delays in Change Management Process or approvals
  • Rejecting outright any change request that is completely out of scope or out of policy for Change Management
  • Utilizing the Change Management reporting system to monitor and track changes
  • Identifying change requests that have not been acted upon in a timely manner and takes appropriate action
  • Ensures that changes are communicated in a timely and adequate manner
  • Create and distribute Chang-+e Management reports

In order to hit the ground running we are looking for individuals who can confidently demonstrate the following

  • Experience producing and maintaining detailed documentation and reports is  desirable (ie: process documentation, work instructions and report templates)
  • Experience on similar projects/engagements highly desirable
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel is
  • Experience with HP Service Manager or similar ITSM tools is highly desirable
  • Certified  Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent certification
  • ITIL Foundations certification
  • Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Certification

    Security Clearance Needed

  • Baseline Security clearance (mandatory)
  • NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance (highly desirable)
