About The Role,

The Iteration Manager is responsible for building and leading multiple self-organising, efficient, customer-focused agile teams to deliver continuous value in a fast-paced environment.

This involves coaching and empowering teams to take accountability for their delivery, risks and issues using lean and agile methods. This role is also responsible for driving team and program-level continuous improvements to enable efficient and effective delivery.

The Iteration Manager has no direct reports, rather this role is accountable for building and managing delivery teams based on a portfolio of work with individual project and business objectives and requirements.


•Work closely with Product Owner DNA to understand priorities, and deliver projects and initiatives utilising lean and agile methods

•Collaborate with stakeholders to measure satisfaction with the output of a delivery team, and establish processes for managing a portfolio of work in an Agile way

•Consult with internal and external stakeholders to receive inputs into the design and resourcing of the projects, including process improvements and project blockers, and further guidance on Agile practices where necessary

•Develop strong relationships with industry bodies to learn Lean and Agile best practices and introduce into Belong

Critical Competencies,

•In-depth practical knowledge of Agile and lean methodologies

•A strong understanding of DWH build process and dependencies

•An understanding of differences of ingestion/egression/reporting/business logic

•Customer-outcome focused

•Understanding of the fundamental design principals, such as star-schema, snowflakes and data hub

•Ability to manage external and internal expectations in relation to project timelines

•High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change

•Solution oriented, rather than problem oriented
