Enterprise (Business) Architect


Telstra Enterprise have an opportunity for a Business (Enterprise) Architect to play an integral role on the largest digital transformation programme in APAC. This role will see you define our architecture, modernise existing products and services, redefine and establish large programmes as well as support the development of effective strategic, tactical and operational plans.  

You will play a role in capital planning, project costings and benefit analysis models. You will determine how Telstra will manage its digitisation programme for the next three years as well as providing expertise on major investment decisions. 

What will I be doing?

  • Develop a road map from current state to vision, analyse data and implement any business opportunities that appear/prove viable
  • Analyse, understand and diagnose business critical issues and provide commercially beneficial recommendations
  • Alongside the projects team you will analyse the domain, projects and programs and translate requirements into industry standard frameworks (i.e. eTOM, TAM and SID)
  • Communicate findings and make recommendations to the senior leadership team

What will I bring to the role?

  • Proven capability leading Agile projects using design thinking
  • Previous experience being a key contributor of a technically/commercially complex digitisation programme
  • Experience with industry standard business frameworks such as eTOM, TAM and SID
  • Demonstrated and extensive experience in business analysis and research, within a technology organisation (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture modelling applications, e.g. (Sparx, Casewise) and Archimate 3.0
