Digital Channel CRO Specialist


Working within our Consumer & Small Business (C&SB) unit, our Sales and Service team build and manage our relationships with customers; overseeing channel footprint and performance management; and developing multichannel solutions and systems.

As the CRO Specialist, you will be critical in continuously enhancing the Telstra digital assets to improve customer engagement and conversion of digital activities to increase digital sales and service objectives.

In this role, you will:

  1. Develop a good understanding of Telstra’s strategy and digital channel imperatives, embedding yourself into the digital assets to understand pages, flows, products and services, digital behaviour inclusive of understanding on-site traffic
  2. Have passion for continuously improving digital experiences to improve customer engagement and conversion rates, whether working more broadly on landing pages and around customer journeys or on a very granular level with micro-optimisations to improve call to actions (CTA) rates
  3. Focus on web and digital assets optimisation, where tools permit, across e-commerce and service related activities

To be successful in the role, you’ll have:

  1. Proven track record in designing, implementing A/B and multi-variant tests with excellent skills in managing digital experiments with 2 years’ experience
  2. Experience in roles that are highly analytical, logical and evidence orientated using digital tools such as Adobe Analytics or GA360 to interrogate, analyse and report on digital data
  3. Ability to visualise, create, and communicate hypotheses and digital design working closely with UX, AEM Specialists, product owners, e-commerce and service specialists
  4. Digital journey mapping skills to determine optimal conversion paths
  5. Experience using Adobe Target, Optimizely and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Interaction Studio
