To realise our digital transformation we need to develop a clear and cohesive design vision for the future of our customer experiences and put it into action, growing and developing Telstra’s design teams, and capabilities, to deliver against Telstra’s T22 strategy.

Within Telstra Enterprise the Commercial and Contract Management (CCM) team is looking to for a seasoned Bid & Proposal Principal. CCM comprises a team of over 70 professionals aligned to our Telstra Enterprise customers and provides commercial and contract management across the customer portfolio throughout the full lifecycle of the customer agreement.  They work as an integral element of the account team with Sales, Service Delivery & Project Management to ensure brilliant business outcomes are achieved for both our customers and Telstra. The team is aligned to the Telstra Enterprise customer segmentation with dedicated support to Strategic Accounts, Sales team alignment in Tier 2 accounts and leveraging offshore partners in Tier 3 accounts.

Some key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high performing team of Commercial & Contract Managers in support of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Enterprise customers
  • Engage as a key member and trusted advisor to our Client Partners & account leadership team – providing recommendations, risk identification and commercial strategies to achieve business goals for both Telstra and our customers.
  • Build strong, trust based relationships with key customer contacts, being recognised as a focal point for solving commercial issues and disputes.
  • Contribute to business growth through active engagement in new business proposals to ensure commercial viability & risk minimisation.
  • Oversee account governance to ensure contractual obligations are understood and managed appropriately.
  • Provide contract interpretation guidance and advice, engaging legal where necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively both across CCM and broadly across Telstra Enterprise in support of driving growth, innovation and simplification for our business.
