Account Management Senior Specialist

Telstra Enterprise is a growth engine for Telstra and is focused on providing global business customers of all sizes with industry based services and solutions. We’re on the lookout for a Senior Account Management Specialist to join our Sydney team and manage our high revenue corporate portfolios. You’ll be required to provide a strategic account management approach and drive customer engagement.

As a Senior Account Management Specialist you will be required to:

  • Establish/Manage strategic customer relationship/s and ongoing development of relationship/s to achieve customer satisfaction including, executive level customer contact plans across multiple business units.
  • Drive a strategic, consultative sales approach to grow Telstra’s business beyond existing business
  • Lead significant customer and account initiated tender and bid responses 
  • Develop a strong sales profile including lead identification, building relationships with key individuals, engaging specialist sales, and working with business partners.
  • Achieve Revenue and Sales Objectives for a defined portfolio of strategic customers
  • Develop a well-defined account plan which includes revenue growth strategy involving product and service teams.
  • Contribution to pre-sale activities in the Sales Team including: Research and analysis, bid and proposal preparation and sourcing of product/solution information

So what are we looking for?

  • Ideally you’ll come with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and account management from within the telecommunication and ICT solution space
  • Ideally experience working within Enterprise customer portfolio
  • Superior skills and demonstrated business success in sales planning & execution
  • Commercially savvy, innovative in your approach and have a knack for understanding customers' priorities and profiles to develop outcomes to meet those needs
  • Strong customer relationship management and presentation skills and an ability to drive outcomes
