Account Director - Banking


The Account Director - CBA is responsible for proactively developing and executing account strategies across a broad portfolio of Telstra products & services to deliver on the bank’s strategy and business/service needs.

Key Accountabilities include;

  • Ensure account revenue, sales and NPS targets, and shared customer business outcomes are met or exceeded.
  • Provide strategic account management, interfacing with senior customer executives
  • Develop and execute a well defined strategy and account plan integrating products, solution and service offerings that provide value based solutions to the customer 
  • Provide sales strategy leadership with an emphasis on advisory/consulting services
  • Develop and maintain account team culture to ensure ongoing collaboration and support of the commitment to becoming/maintaining Telstra’s strategic partnership with the customer.

We are keen to engage with highly seasoned senior ICT Strategic Sales and Acquisition Leaders who have a proven and articulated track record of new business acquisition in line with specified metrics. You will have the ability to creatively implement and drive process and strategy improvement and highly refined business acumen. In addition you will have demonstrated experience working on key corporate accounts (ideally banking), exposure to complex solutions and tenders, a demonstrated knowledge of industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies. Your proven success in strategic thought leadership and managing an inspiring an account team is also important. Relevant IT or Marketing/Business tertiary qualifications preferred.
