About the Role

This role is responsible for the delivery of high quality services to the client, one of Australia’s largest financial services company, the management of Corporate Super quotations and to maintain strong and effective stakeholder relationship across peers at TAL.

About You

We are ideally looking for someone with client management experience in the Super Fund / Master Trust sector and Life Insurance industry. You have strong negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills, as well as very good analytical and problem solving abilities.

Excellent client relationship management and customer service skills are essential, as are strong communication, interpersonal and time management. You also have a basic understanding of P&L, claims experience, profit and expense margins, external factors influencing price and sensitivity of profit to changes in the above.

Duties

Key responsibilities include:

Business Management:

  • Responsible for the delivery of high quality services to our clients in accordance with our administration agreements, other contractual or stated commitments
  • Maintain strong and effective stakeholder relationships across peers at TAL to ensure that the enterprise is able to deliver on our client commitments
  • Understanding of TAL’s strategy at an Enterprise level and awareness of relevant matters in other Life Insurance Channels

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain operational and strategic account management plans
  • Report and monitor on adherence to Service Level Agreements
  • Rerate and implementation management

Product Development:

  • Able to respond to queries where answer is clearly stated within existing policy documentation
  • Respond where basic interpretation is required or precedent is available to draw upon, otherwise refer to a more senior member of staff where interpretation is required. This will be based on the own individual judgement considering their own experience and knowledge
  • Review and draft Corporate Super flyers / presentations
  • Review and draft other documentation / communication to members and/or advisers

Operational Knowledge:

  • Work with clients and internal peers in relevant operational areas to design and implement required changes to operational process
  • Detailed understanding of TAL’s claims, underwriting and Corporate Super quotations processes and people (ET, GM’s and Heads)
  • Detailed understanding of clients administration capabilities, processes and risks
