Role Snapshot
Tabcorp's Raceday department are seeking multiple customer-centric professionals, to join the team in the position of Race Day Controller on a casual basis. The Race Day Controller is accountable for the accurate compilation and entry of Raceday data into the Bravo computer system and the subsequent primary control and customer service associated with each event conducted.
The position reports to the Operations Lead, and primarily delivers online real-time information and control services to the Wagering business, both domestically and internationally.
The Raceday controller role is a team-based role and requires staff to work on a 22/7, 364 days per year rotating roster including early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, between the hours of 7am and 5am.
What you’ll do -
- Accurate entering into system for all relevant racing data pertaining to 140,000+ greyhound/harness/thoroughbred meetings both nationally and internationally.
- Accurate entry of race results past the post to be displayed on Sky channels
- Maintenance and distribution of all racing information to various distribution channels.
- Actioning control betting requirements for the VIC, NSW and QLD systems including performing: ‘close sell’, ‘results entry’ and ‘start pay’ functions for over 140,000 races per year.
- Successfully monitor screen logs, error messaging and system requirements to ensure system and pooling partner stability.
What you’ll bring –
- Previous experience in data entry with demonstrated high level of accuracy
- Racing industry knowledge/experience (Ideal but not essential)
- Maintain high concentration levels and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, both written & verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be available to work across multiple shift patterns (Day, afternoon, night) and rotating rosters
