About the role

In this exciting role your will support the Customer and Community engagement team by gathering and analysing data to assist the team to make strategic and informed decisions. You will produce timely reports to ensure regulatory requirements are met, including monthly team reports and internal operational reports, along with external Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting. In this position you are responsible for data analysis, reporting, report writing, resource management and some communication channel/ data base management. You will also:

  • Provide project support for the team ie customer enquiries and requests and events support when requested.
  • Input data and information into the CRM, and use CRM to extract data for customer and community engagement activities, on request from CSR & E team members or partners.
  • Manage and maintain Sydney Water Talk, the website, and other communication channels for the CSR & Engagement team, ensuring updates are made on time and to a high quality.
  • Extract, analyse, review, validate, and report on the quality and use of customer data across the team, and work on projects that support improved data quality. Assist with other ad hoc analytical reporting in support of the wider team.
  • Maintain customer engagement, education and community engagement databases (including Consultation Manager) with accurate information.
  • Coordinate incoming enquires with team members, to meet project SLA requirements (phone calls, letters, team email boxes etc)
  • Administer, coordinate and monitor the education program and event bookings, enquiries and resource requests.

About you

  • Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing or other relevant field.
  • 5 years’ experience in data analysis, report writing and people coordination.
  • Proven experience advocating and influencing to improve alignment of projects and initiatives with stakeholder needs and values.
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated ability to develop strong and trusted relationships internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve and adapt with ease to rapidly changing work priorities.
  • Ability to critically analyse and interpret data and information from a diverse range of sources.
  • Strong understanding of using digital engagement platforms to capture data and automate reporting highly considered.
  • Previous experience or understanding of working in a regulated environment highly considered.
