Senior Treasury Analyst

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Treasury professional to join the Group Treasury team at Stockland. In joining our Treasury team, you will work with a highly skilled and collaborative team where you will play a central part in Stockland’s ongoing financial performance and operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Group Treasurer in delivering timely and accurate Treasury Reports for the Risk Committee, monthly Board report and the half yearly Budget reports. This entails carriage over all mark to market reports and the stress testing of derivative, cash flow and counterparty risks.
  • Assist the Group Treasurer with the management of interest rate and foreign exchange risk through financial instruments, including preparing research, analysis, documentation and implementation.
  • Assist the Group Treasurer with the management of short and long term funding and administration requirements, including preparation of research, analysis, documentation and implementation.
  • Assist the Group Treasurer on the analysis, implementation, documentation and valuation of all Hedge accounted derivatives.
  • Assist the Group Treasurer in ensuring monthly interest expense is forecasted and correctly posted to journals

 

What we are looking for?

  • Our ideal candidate will come from a background working as either a Treasury Analyst or Senior Treasury Analyst and will hold an undergraduate business degree in Accounting, Economics or a business related major. A postgraduate qualification would be well regarded.
  • You will have strong Critical Thinking, Analytical and Logic and Reasoning Skills, along with excellent Communication skills and an ability to work independently.
  • In addition, you will have a strong working understanding of cash flow forecasting / liquidity management, financial markets and debt capital markets. An exposure to Reval would be highly advantageous.
