Senior Marketing Manager-Retail


Great opportunity for a customer obsessed, energetic Retail Marketer looking for a role that provides variety and challenge, exposure to business, stakeholders and customers, as well as best in class marketing tools and techniques.

Stockland is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team in Brisbane managing the marketing of a cluster of 5 retail centres in Queensland.  You will be responsible for the strategy, budget and day to day management of the retail marketing team for the cluster and will play a critical and pivotal role for the implementation of Stockland Commercial Property Marketing strategy

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Creation and Management of individual strategic marketing plans for region and centres
  • Assist in the creation of successful regional and local campaigns aligned to strategy
  • Creation and overall media strategy for region 
  • Understand and apply key insights into strategy and drive campaign development for each asset
  • Creation and Coordinate the centre marketing budget process to ensure all expenses are in line with income, including overhead budget for business unit
  • Assist in the development of regional and local centre marketing campaigns
  • Maximise PR and networking opportunities
  • Build the Marketing team’s capability by contributing to the implementation and management of succession planning and recruitment programs
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide mentoring, coaching and technical direction to regional marketing team on constant basis

About you:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience
  • A background in retail marketing would be highly regarded
  • Good knowledge and application of all marketing tools above and below the line
  • Knowledge of community development practices and corporate sustainability initiatives
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Ability to develop skills of a marketing team
  • Excellent stakeholder’s engagement and influencing skills
  • Strong leadership, team building, mentoring and motivational skills
