National Marketing Manager


We are looking for an outstanding Marketing Professional to help us fulfil our promise - creating thriving communities where people want to live. This fantastic opportunity will lead our Communities (Land, Residential and Retirement living) marketing function and be at the forefront of our well-known, reputable and established ASX listed brand. 

 

Your Role

 

This leadership role will see you managing a team of over 40 marketing professionals responsible for consistently and effectively delivering Marketing strategies to our residential and   retirement living business units. Reporting to the General Manager –Customer & Marketing- you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies and practices that support the delivery of our vision and outcomes and maximise our future sales positioning.

Partnering with key internal and external stakeholders, you will:

  • Work with the GM –Customer & Marketing- and across Marketing & Management teams to develop a national marketing strategy for all the operational and development Communities ensuring plans are flexible and have longevity.
  • Provide thought leadership on strategic issues and work with Regional Marketing Managers to optimise local area activity and ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Manage national and local marketing budgets and the budget process to ensure all expenses are in line with income, including overhead budgets.
  • Ensure marketing strategies, programs and national campaigns are delivered on time, budget and to the required outcomes.
  • Maximise PR and networking opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing teams across Residential and Retirement living to ensure “One Stockland”.
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide mentoring, coaching & technical direction to Regional marketing managers and broader teams on ongoing basis.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in Marketing in the Property sector- Residential experience is a pre-requisite as well as a solid background in strategic planning and implementation of successful national marketing campaigns. You will have a strong understanding of community development practices and corporate sustainability initiatives.

Recognised as a trusted leader, you are team orientated and can motivate, manage, empower and develop a large and dispersed team of multi-disciplined marketing professionals.

Your relationship management skills allow you to engage and influence a wide variety of stakeholders to understand their business needs and deliver desired outcomes.
