HR Business Partner


In this 12-month parental leave contract role, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to identify opportunities and provide quality, professional HR advice, support and coaching on culture, capability and change initiatives, working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and the Corporate HR team. You will also play a key role in the delivery of high-profile programs including the Stockland Graduate Program.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Stockland Group and BU People Plan, HR strategies, and organisational effectiveness;
  • Provide expert HR advice to business leaders in the area of capability, engagement, recruitment, selection and retention and succession strategies;
  • Work with a range of internal stakeholders from across our Stockland business to understand resourcing needs ahead of our graduate marketing campaigns;
  • Provide ongoing support and tracking of graduates throughout the duration of their programme including supporting managers with ongoing performance, remuneration management and updating them with graduate program learning activities and events;
  • Work with our Managers, HR partners and L&D team to ensure that graduate rotations are mapped and work with graduates and managers to secure ongoing permanent roles from the program;
  • Partner with BU people leaders to drive high performance through the implementation of performance management, including objective alignment, and coaching;
  • Support people leaders to foster a harmonious working environment, including team development, and when required, grievance and disciplinary management;
  • Support readiness and manage change in the workplace.

About you

  • Proven work experience in a HR generalist or business partner role;
  • Demonstrated ability to network with other professionals in a collaborative manner;
  • Knowledge and experience working with HR policies, procedures and relevant ER legislation;
  • Experienced coach with strong influencing ability;
  • Organised and committed to delivering great people and business outcomes;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
