Grounds & Maintenance


We are looking for a hands on Grounds and Maintenance officer to join Stockland Lightsview based in Adelaide, SA. As our friendly onsite Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you will be kept on your feet assisting across a variety of gardening and maintenance tasks ensuring the continued comfort, safety and happiness of our village residents.

This is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday working 38 hours per week.

Your tasks will include:

  • Assuming responsibility for the everyday maintenance and presentation of the village
  • Supporting processes and procedures related to the delivery of a safe, compliant, well-maintained and sustainable village
  • Managing expenditure within the budget
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Administrative duties
  • Complete carpentry and painting as required
  • Complete minor plumbing and electrical repair items as required
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Identify organisational improvement initiatives
  • Manage and maintain all gardens and lawns
  • Ensuring all communal areas are tidy and well-maintained, removing rubbish and garden waste
  • Other ad hoc tasks
  • Role will also require callouts for afterhours emergencies

We are looking for someone with hands on experience in a similar type of role. You will have clear communication and good people skills.

  • Relevant trade building qualifications
  • Relevant gardening and maintenance experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Appreciation for OH&S and legislative compliance and practices
  • Alignment to Stockland values and culture
