Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to be part of our Commercial team providing specialist advisory support nationally to our Development and Project Management teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the successful completion/delivery of supply and/or construction contracts including consultancy agreements for a range of development projects;
  • Preparation and facilitation of Strategic sourcing, contract and tender drafting, negotiation through to contract execution and post execution administration;
  • Liaising closely with the National Commercial Manager, other Contract Managers, Group Legal, Projects Managers and Development Managers on contract conditions, scope of works and general contracting consultation including knowledge of the home building and security of payment legislation, for the delivery of development project contracts;
  • Advocating systemisation compliance though the use of a contract documentation system; and
  • Establishing business relationships with relevant contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • About You

    You will have at least 5 years of Contracts Management experience in the building/construction industry with strong communication and stakeholder advisory skills and a desire to deliver best practice methods. With solid commercial acumen, demonstrated experience in contract preparation and financial analysis including reporting of major projects, your collaborative approach will allow you to work successfully across other disciplines in the business.
