Scrum Master

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic Scrum Master who is keen to drive the delivery of our continuous improvement program of our key applications. These continuous improvements include product and system enhancements, efficiency improvements, and regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the scrum process via the coordination of the scrum team in Agile methodology
  • Facilitate effective team ceremonies including the daily standup, sprint planning, showcases and retrospective meetings
  • Facilitate a team environment to release value on time, and use metrics effectively to improve the performance and quality of the team
  • Ensure any impediments to the scrum team are removed
  • Working closely with the product owner to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
  • Act as a safe guard for the team from external interference and over commitment
  • Manage the technical interdependencies between teams and stakeholder groups
  • Ensure quality standards and a high level of professionalism is maintained at all times
  • Proactive in the promotion of continuous improvement and Agile maturity uplift

About you

  • Proven Agile delivery experience in creating and enabling new teams to higher performance
  • Strong, multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with software vendors
  • Strong organisation and scheduling skills
  • Strong problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
