Projects Operations Manager - NSW

Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney and reporting to the Regional Director (ACT/NSW) Buildings, we have a unique opportunity for a technically and commercially astute, relationships focused Projects Operations Manager to join our NSW Buildings team.


In addition to overseeing the execution of BMS/security and technology related projects for our commercial and industrial clients, your outstanding interpersonal skills will be key in building strong relationships and generating additional work.


The following will be key to your success:

  • Experience in a similar role in either electrical, mechanical or technology related industries 
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Strong leadership experience and capability
  • The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • An awareness of the non–residential construction industry 
  • The ability to conduct high level presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to identify and understand customer needs and present relevant solutions
  • A comprehensive local construction industry network
  • The ability to understand, adapt to and work with individual communication/work styles
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline 


Whilst not essential, a qualification in project management will be highly regarded.


As a strong and decisive leader, you build high performing teams and focus on accountability of actions and achievement of results; you champion and drive change.


You understand the complexities of project management and the importance of managing stakeholder expectations and relationships across a large and complex organisation. 


You have excellent communication skills and a strong team focus; you thrive on responsibility and challenge and enjoy working on multiple projects with diverse stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.
